YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BA) with strong knowledge of HR/Payroll data, processes and systems to support the analysis, design, and implementation of payroll-related technology solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team, ensuring efficient, compliant, and accurate payroll operations through technology-driven solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for payroll systems, integrations, and process improvements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for developers and vendors.
  • Conduct data mapping and interface analysis between HRMS, Time & Attendance, and Payroll systems.
  • Identify and document gaps, dependencies, and risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with vendors or internal teams to manage upgrades, releases, and issue resolution.
  • Support system configuration, testing (UAT/SIT), and payroll parallel runs during implementation.
  • Prepare process documentation, SOPs, and user guides.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Hands-on experience with Payroll/HR systems -  Workday
  • Strong understanding of Payroll integrations, APIs, and data exchange formats (XML, CSV, REST).
  • Experience in SQL and data validation techniques for payroll-related data.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based HR and Finance systems and related middleware
  • Exposure to reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or custom payroll analytics.
  • In-depth understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, including:
    • Time capture and attendance
    • Earnings, deductions, and benefits
    • Statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.
    • Payroll reconciliation and reporting
    • Expert level knowledge of HR/payroll data and related processes
  • Knowledge of multi-country payroll processing (preferred).
  • Familiarity with labour laws and taxation standards applicable to payroll.
  • 10+ years of total experience with at least 6 years as a Technical BA in Payroll/ HR systems end to end implementations
