YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a skilled Talend ETL Developer with strong experience in integrating data into Kinaxis Maestro Planning Server. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and scheduling Talend jobs, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency across multiple enterprise systems including SAP, Kinaxis, and Data Warehouses.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Talend jobs to load data into Kinaxis Maestro Planning Server.
- Adhere to coding standards and perform unit testing, documenting and sharing results with business users for validation.
- Deploy Talend jobs into TAC (Talend Administration Center) from Nexus repository.
- Schedule jobs using cron-based or file-based triggers within TAC.
- Monitor job performance and create execution plans for sequential or parallel job processing in TAC.
- Integrate Talend jobs with various systems via XML, JSON, REST APIs, SFTP, flat files, and other formats.
- Extract and transform data from enterprise systems such as SAP, APO, and data lakes using Kinaxis connectors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and business requirements alignment.
YOUR PROFILE
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Talend ETL development.
- Proficiency in integrating Talend with systems like KSAP, Data Warehouses.
- Expertise in ETL design, data transformations, and working with XML/JSON.
- Experience deploying Talend jobs to Nexus and managing them in TAC Job Conductor.
- Strong background in job scheduling, monitoring, and execution planning in TAC.
- Experience with Kinaxis extractors and ERP data sourcing from SAP/APO.
- Working knowledge of SFTP components and file-based integration.
- Technical skills in SQL, and scripting in R or JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Expertise in creating Talend ETL jobs utilizing File and Database components
- Proficient in SQL and experienced in working with relational databases to ensure efficient data manipulation and retrieval.
- Practical experience in using Talend's API components to handle GET and POST requests for data communication and integration.
- Knowledge of programming languages like Java for general coding tasks and automation within ETL workflows
- Understanding of version control with Git for managing code repositories
