We are seeking highly skilled Data Scientists or professionals with equivalent expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to join our growing team in the insurance domain. This role is integral to driving data-driven insights, predictive modeling, and AI innovations that support smarter decision-making across underwriting, claims assessment, customer engagement, fraud detection, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain machine learning models to solve core business problems in the insurance space.
  • Work with large-scale structured and unstructured data from internal systems and third-party sources.
  • Build predictive models for underwriting risk, customer lifetime value, churn prediction, and pricing optimization.
  • Apply NLP and LLMs to automate document processing, claims assessment, and customer service.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with actuaries, underwriters, product teams, and software engineers.
  • Ensure models and solutions are robust, explainable, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps pipelines.
  • Familiarity with actuarial models and insurance analytics platforms.
  • Exposure to regulatory and compliance considerations in financial services.
  • Ability to handle ambiguous problems and break them down into structured analytical tasks.
  • Experience with GenAI solutions like ChatGPT or MS Copilot
  • Language: Arabic

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong foundation in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and AI techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Python, R, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar.
  • Practical knowledge of applying LLMs or generative AI in real-world applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in insurance (life, health, motor, or general) is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with insurance-specific datasets such as policy data, claims data, telematics, etc.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
