Responsibilities:
The role involves resolving incidents, monitoring applications, and collaborating with the senior team to ensure smooth operations.
The ideal candidate will have good technical grounding in Java, Unix/Linux, and Oracle, with a willingness to learn and grow in a structured support environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 application support for Java-based applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Java, Servlets, JDBC, PL/SQL, and Unix environments.
- Perform log analysis, basic debugging, and issue triaging.
- Support deployment activities under senior team guidance.
- Monitor applications and batch processes, escalating issues as required.
- Collaborate with the onsite/offshore teams to ensure timely issue resolution within SLAs.
- Maintain and update documentation, issue logs, and runbooks.
- Participate in shift-based and on-call support rotations [ 24/7]
Requirements:
- Basic ITIL Knowledge, eader to learn, Monitoring alterts and Escalation support.
- Good knowledge of Java and ability to debug application issues.
- Understanding of Servlets, JSP, and JDBC for issue resolution.
- Familiarity with IBM Liberty and Tomcat for app deployment and monitoring.
- Awareness of frontend debugging concepts (HTML, JavaScript).
