Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Integration Consultant with a strong background in integrating SAP SuccessFactors with SAP HCM (on-premise) and third-party systems. The role combines both support and consulting responsibilities, including end-to-end integration development, issue resolution, and enhancement work. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience, including SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), Dell Boomi, or middleware tools, and a solid understanding of HR business processes
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain integrations between SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, and other third-party systems using middleware (SAP CPI, Dell Boomi, PI/PO, etc.).
- Provide ongoing support for existing integrations, resolving data and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor interface jobs, logs, and system alerts to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Coordinate with SAP support and vendors for issue resolution and enhancements.
- Perform data mapping, transformation logic, error handling, and exception management.
- Support the deployment of regular SuccessFactors releases, regression testing, and impact analysis for integrations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, integration specs, and support procedures.
- Provide guidance and training to clients or internal teams as needed.
- Support data migrations and synchronization processes between systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in SAP integrations, with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors and/or SAP HCM.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)/SAP Integration Suite.
- Proficient in XML, XSLT, JSON, REST/SOAP web services, and IDoc/Flat File processing.
- Familiarity with SuccessFactors APIs (OData, SFAPI) and integration center.
- Strong understanding of HR master data, organizational management, and business processes.
- Experience with issue tracking and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, HRIS, or a related field.
- Experience with other middleware platforms (Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, SAP PI/PO).
- Familiarity with EC Payroll, Employee Central replication, or SAP HCM Time & Payroll integrations.
- Knowledge of security protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and SFTP.
- Exposure to Agile/DevOps tools and practices.
- SAP or SuccessFactors integration certifications are a plus.
