Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

  • Lead the frontend engineering team and provide technical direction for React-based applications.
  • Define frontend architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Review solution designs and ensure scalability, maintainability, security, and performance.
  • Drive technical decision-making and resolve complex engineering challenges.

 

Client & Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact between client stakeholders, architects, and the offshore development team.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Participate in requirement workshops, technical discussions, estimation, and solution planning.
  • Provide regular technical updates, identify risks, and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.

 

Delivery Leadership:

  • Lead a team of 4–10 frontend engineers.
  • Drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and release planning.
  • Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Coordinate with backend, DevOps, QA, UX, and architecture teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

 

Hands-on Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade React applications.
  • Build reusable UI components and frontend frameworks.
  • Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs following API-first principles.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
  • Support production issue analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:

Mandatory:

  • Strong hands-on expertise in React
  • Strong JavaScript development skills
  • Experience building enterprise-scale Single Page Applications (SPA)
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs
  • Experience designing scalable frontend architectures
  • Experience leading frontend development teams
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring developers
