YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Manual Tester with strong exposure to the Health Insurance domain. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in functional testing, API validation, defect management, and end-to-end testing of health insurance applications, including policy administration, claims, member enrollment, provider management, and billing modules. 

The candidate should also have exposure to modern testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, and BDD Cucumber, along with basic exposure to automation testing. 


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories related to health insurance applications.  
  • Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on requirements.  
  • Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, Smoke, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).  
  • Validate core health insurance modules such as:  

-Member Enrollment  

-Claims Processing  

-Policy Administration  

-Provider Network Management  

-Billing & Payments  

-Pre-Authorization and Eligibility

  • Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools such as Jira.  
  • Participate in requirement walkthroughs, sprint planning, and daily stand-up meetings.  
  • Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.  
  • Ensure test coverage and traceability for all business requirements.  
  • Perform API testing using tools like Postman or SOAP UI when required.  
  • Support production validation and post-release testing activities.  
  • Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing status to stakeholders.   

YOUR PROFILE

Technical Skills 

  • Experience in manual testing methodologies and QA processes.  
  • Ability to design and execute effective test cases for frontend and backend applications.
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices testing. 
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and GitLab integration.  
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.  
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.      

    Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Selenium, Playwright, and BDD Cucumber frameworks. 
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing tools.  
  • Background in the Health Insurance or Life Insurance industry.  
  • Knowledge of the German language is an added advantage. 

Experience Required 

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in QA Testing.
