YOUR ROLE

• Design and develop web applications: Build, enhance and maintain enterprise web applications using React, TypeScript, Redux, Node.js and NestJS, from requirements to go-live.
• Own your work packages: Analyse requirements, estimate effort and independently deliver assigned development work packages, from technical analysis and solution design to testing and deployment.
• Build APIs and backend services: Design and implement REST APIs, backend services and database integrations.
• Work cloud-native: Develop and operate applications on AWS, including serverless architectures.
• Shape the solution: Contribute to technical solution design, implementation approaches and architecture discussions.
• Ensure quality: Write and run unit, integration and automated end-to-end tests, and keep code quality, security, performance and maintainability high.
• Deliver reliably: Support builds, deployments and releases through established CI/CD pipelines.
• Keep applications stable: Investigate and resolve defects, production incidents and recurring technical issues.
• Document and communicate: Maintain technical documentation, source code and test evidence, and keep distributed international teams informed about progress, dependencies and risks.

YOUR PROFILE

• Engineering background: Several years of hands-on full-stack development of complex web applications, with proven senior-level, independent delivery. Demonstrable commercial experience with React, Node.js/NestJS and AWS-based architectures.
• Frontend and backend: Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, React, Redux, Node.js and NestJS, plus solid knowledge of REST, HTTP and JSON, with practical use of Postman or SoapUI.
• Cloud and data: Practical AWS knowledge, including serverless architectures, VPC, Fargate, DynamoDB, S3 and Amazon RDS, and experience with PostgreSQL and application database integration.
• Quality and tooling: Confident with Git, GitFlow and GitHub, and hands-on automated testing with Jest, Cypress and integration testing practices.
• Agile delivery: Experience in Agile/Scrum teams and in supporting deployed applications.
• Nice to have: CI/CD experience with tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, Concourse, Groovy or Gradle; experience in regulated financial services environments; experience in application maintenance, production support and structured incident resolution.
• Working style: Analytical, solution-oriented and accountable end to end. You communicate clearly and reliably across distributed teams, give realistic estimates, raise risks and dependencies early, and care about code quality, information security and documentation.
• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Languages: Very good written and spoken English; you work independently with international teams.
