We are looking for a Data QA Engineer to join a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) program for a leading global client in the vision care / optics manufacturing space. This role combines data engineering skills with a strong quality mindset to validate manufacturing data flows end to end.
Responsibilities
Validate data across ETL/ELT pipelines feeding the MES landscape
Build test automation for data validation using Python
Work with data models and query layers to verify correctness and completeness
Collaborate with the European team during Portuguese business hours via MS Teams
YOUR PROFILE
Mandatory Skills
Strong SQL
Python for data validation / test automation
Data modelling and ETL/ELT understanding
Hands-on experience with Azure and Azure Databricks
Ability to commit to a one-year assignment and align with Portuguese working hours
