As a Project Management Office (PMO) Consultant, you will support our project teams and project managers in delivering IT and digital transformation projects for banking clients. Working remotely from India, you will collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders in international, distributed teams. YOUR ROLE
•    Support project management: You develop and implement standards, monitor progress and help keep IT and digital transformation projects for banking clients on track.
•    Organise meetings: You plan, coordinate and prepare regular project meetings, workshops and steering committees efficiently.
•    Create reports and presentations: You consolidate project information and prepare clear, concise status reports, management presentations and project documentation.
•    Coordinate stakeholders: You ensure transparent communication between project teams, project management, management and client stakeholders.
•    Identify and resolve issues: You recognise risks, dependencies and challenges at an early stage and help ensure smooth project delivery.
•    Support project governance: You maintain action, decision, risk and issue logs and support structured change and governance processes.
•    Manage resources and project data: You support resource planning, capacity management, time tracking and project-related controlling.
•    Develop your expertise: You actively contribute to the further development of our PMO services and help improve processes, tools and ways of working.

YOUR PROFILE

•    Education or degree: A completed degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, project management or a comparable qualification provides the foundation for this role.
•    Initial experience: You have experience with project management or PMO tasks and bring a sound technical understanding.
•    Banking expertise: Ideally, you have gained initial experience in the banking or financial services sector and are interested in digital transformation and regulatory requirements.
•    Working style: You work in a structured, independent and reliable manner and actively contribute to the team.
•    Communication skills: You can communicate confidently with different stakeholders and enjoy working in international and virtual teams.
•    Software skills: You are confident using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or MS Project is an advantage.
•    AI competence: You use AI tools confidently in your area of expertise, critically evaluate their results and support customers and adesso in leveraging the potential of AI.
•    Language skills: Your very good English skills enable you to communicate confidently with our customers and international project teams.
Remote collaboration: You are comfortable working remotely or from an adesso office in India and collaborating effectively across international teams, cultures and time zones.

International project experience: You have already worked in distributed delivery teams or international IT projects involving stakeholders in India and Germany.
