Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to design, configure, and deliver SAP Material Management solutions across procurement and inventory processes in SAP environments, including S/4HANA. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver effective SAP MM solutions aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, support, and enhance SAP MM processes such as: Procurement and Purchasing (PR, PO, RFQ), Inventory Management, Goods Receipt and Goods Issue, Invoice Verification
  • Work on SAP MM configuration including material master, vendor master, pricing procedures, release strategies, and account determination
  • Support MM processes in SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes, ensuring system stability and performance
  • Collaborate with FI, SD, and PP teams to manage end-to-end integration scenarios
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional SAP MM solutions
  • Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments and enhancements
  • Work with technical teams to design and validate reports, interfaces and process enhancements
  • Perform unit testing, support UAT, and assist with defect resolution
  • Provide production support and handle incidents and change requests
  • Support data migration, cutover activities, and post–go-live stabilization
  • Create and maintain functional and process documentation
  • Provide expert support for SAP MM module, addressing user queries and issues.
  • Should have knowledge of BADI’s, BAPI’s and their deployments.
  • Monitor and resolve incidents, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including process flows, user manuals, and training materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM
  • Strong understanding of business processes related to materials management.
  • Experience working on implementation, rollout, or support projects
  • Good understanding of MM integration with FI, SD, and PP
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA/ Fiori is a plus.
  • Relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.
