Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright-based test automation to join our team. You will design, implement and maintain automated test suites collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and work with customers from various industries. You take responsibility for quality, test processes and the mentoring of less experienced testers.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain Playwright test automation
- Evaluate test bases and applications for testability and suitability for automation
- Define and maintain test data and test environments
- Plan, execute and log tests; report defects and test progress
- Coordinate test activities and act as Automation Lead in projects
- Support continuous integration of automated tests (e.g. in CI/CD pipelines)
- Communicate with customer stakeholders and internal teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands‑on testing experience, including test automation
- Proven expertise in Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript
- Experience with at least one additional OSS test automation tool (e.g. Cypress, Selenium)
- Solid knowledge of agile and classic SDLC and test processes
- Experience with test and ticket tools (e.g. Jira, Xray or similar)
- Experience on using AI in testing activities
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level; advanced certifications are a plus
- Strong communication skills and experience in customer‑facing consulting roles
